Where to watch The Couple Next Door

The Couple Next Door starts tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

Eyebrow-raising drama adapted from the Dutch hit series The Swingers, starring Eleanor Tomlinson, Alfred Enoch, Sam Heughan, Jessica De Gouw and Hugh Dennis, about a young couple who develop a fast friendship with their new neighbours when they move to a suburban idyll. But the relationship soon takes some unexpected and sinister turns. Life feels perfect for teacher Evie (Tomlinson) and her partner Pete (Enoch).

They’re moving into a beautiful new house, they have a baby on the way, and their new neighbours – the glamorous Becka (De Gouw) and Danny (Heughan) – seem set to become instant friends. But when tragedy strikes, Evie and Pete are blindsided by grief. Evie lashes out at her religious family, rejects her old life and embraces her new friends, especially Danny, who she finds herself increasingly attracted to. Realising this, Pete can’t help but worry what might have been unleashed – especially when he discovers that Danny and Becka have a very open relationship… Continues tomorrow.
