Olly Alexander to premiere Eurovision entry ‘Dizzy’ on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show

Olly Alexander will guest on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show this Friday morning, when he’ll introduce his Eurovision track ‘Dizzy’ which will get its first play in full.

Olly will be live on the show, alongside Zoe’s other guests Michael Sheen and Paul Whitehouse.

Speaking about representing the UK in Sweden this May, Olly said “I love Eurovision so much, it’s a dream come true… I’m just so, so excited.”

“I really can’t believe I’m going to be a part of such a special legacy and fly the flag for the UK in the gayest way possible.

“I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got and put on an excellent and unforgettable performance for you all!”

“I just can’t wait to get out there and meet the fans and everyone else taking part,” he added.

“It’s going to be the wildest experience of my life.”

A Brit and Bafta award nominee, Olly is the United Kingdom’s most high-profile Eurovision act in many years. So far, fans have only heard a teaser clip of ‘Dizzy’, but on Friday, it will be played in full for the first time. It comes ahead of two Eurovision specials which will air on BBC One this Friday night, starting with Olly Alexander in conversation with Graham Norton at 10.35pm, when the offical music video will also be aired. That’s followed by The Big Eurovision Party from Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Eurovision legends will come together to celebrate the rich musical legacy of the iconic event.

The Big Eurovision Party is a celebration of music, energy and excitement as the artists take the stage to perform some of the most memorable songs from the past while Rylan catches up with some of them backstage.

With performances by Conchita Wurst, Johnny Logan, Käärijä, Måns Zelmerlöw, Cornelia Jakobs, Gjon’s Tears, Alessandra, Rosa Linn and many more.
