Capital host Sian Welby to host ITV’s This Morning
Capital Breakfast presenter Sian Welby is to host itv’s magazine show This Morning next week, alongside Dermot O’Leary.
In the latest in a string of new presenting partnerships, Sian, who has previously presented smaller sections of the show, will take centre stage.
She follows the likes of Cat Deeley, Emma Willis and Ben Shephard who have all fronted the show alongside Craig Doyle, Andi Peters, Rochelle Humes, Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond in recent weeks.
Sian has enjoyed a successful career in entertainment, having cut her teeth presenting Channel 5’s Weather forecasts. She even blogged for an earlier incarnation of this website.
She went on to front coverage of Formula E motorsport and BT Sport’s cycling coverage.
In addition to her TV work, Sian presented Heart’s national evening show before moving to Capital Breakfast where she now presents alongside Roman Kemp and Chris Stark.
Commenting on her promotion on This Morning, she wrote on Instagram: “This news is about me and even I don’t believe it”.
