Killers of The Flower Moon is coming to Apple TV+ on 12 January

After its highly praised and award-winning global theatrical run, Apple Original Films has revealed that Martin Scorsese’s critically acclaimed and Golden Globe Award-nominated feature, “Killers of the Flower Moon,” will be available for streaming worldwide on Apple TV+ starting Friday, January 12.

Regarded as a “masterpiece” and one of the top films of the year, “Killers of the Flower Moon” has been recognized as the Best Film of the Year by the National Board of Review. It boasts 12 Critics Choice Award nominations and 7 Golden Globe Award nominations, securing a spot on the American Film Institute’s Motion Pictures of the Year list.

The film has also earned a place on the Oscars shortlists in categories such as Best Makeup and Hair, Best Sound, Best Original Score, and Best Original Song. Additionally, it has been named the No. 1 Best Film of 2023 by The New York Times and The New Yorker. With accolades from over 20 critics groups worldwide, including winning Best Film from the New York Film Critics Circle, “Killers of the Flower Moon” is set to receive the Vanguard Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards gala tonight.

Directed by Martin Scorsese and co-written by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese, based on David Grann’s bestselling book, the film is set in 1920s Oklahoma and portrays the serial murders of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a series of brutal crimes known as the Reign of Terror. The star-studded cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion.

Produced by Apple Studios in collaboration with Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions, and Appian Way, the film’s producers include Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, Martin Scorsese, and Daniel Lupi. Executive producers include Leonardo DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bower, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer, and Niels Juul.
