The Madame Blanc Mysteries is on Channel 5 and My5 tonight at 9pm with a new episode called ‘Kidnap’.

In this week’s episode, Judith’s birthday celebration takes an unexpected twist as Jeremy plans a surprise party at one of Sainte Victoire’s top restaurants, attended by Jean, Dom, and lifelong friends Delphine and Nancy, who have shared over three decades of friendship with Judith.

The festive atmosphere takes a chilling turn when Nancy steps away to the restroom and is suddenly seized by a mysterious gloved hand. Jeremy’s phone delivers an ominous ping, revealing a disturbing photo of Nancy bound with tape, a menacing knife pressed against her neck.

In a race against time, Caron and Richard establish an incident room at the Chateau to stay close to Judith and Jeremy in case the kidnapper makes contact. Delphine suggests Nancy’s ex-husband, Theo Ludovic, as a potential suspect. Despite their determination to find Nancy, Jean and Dom embark on a quest to uncover clues about her whereabouts, prompting a ransom demand from the kidnapper to the Lloyd-James family.

Geordie has found a new contentment in his relationship with Cathy, but when they are both confronted with shocking announcements at work their happiness is threatened. As Mrs C, Leonard, Jack and Daniel rally around, both Will and Geordie find themselves in unfamiliar, emotional waters and murder is always around the corner.

The eighth season of Grantchester will range from Speedway to spies, exploring the lives of invisible women and the very visible problems caused by Leonard’s new vocation which may, once again, find him battling the law.

Exploring faith, forgiveness, and redemption – this explosive series tests Will and Geordie to the limit.

Jeremy provides a lead, leading Jean and Dom to take matters into their own hands, earning a stern reprimand from Caron. A crucial breakthrough emerges when Jean, while reviewing photos from Judith’s party, stumbles upon a potential clue to locate Nancy.

As the clock ticks, the kidnapper anticipates the ransom from Judith and Jeremy, prepared to resort to drastic measures.
