Tom Allen and Leigh Francis land Virgin Radio shows

Virgin Radio UK has today announced Tom Allen is joining its esteemed team, later this month. Starting from January 14th, Tom will grace the airwaves every Sunday from 12:30 pm to 4 pm, following The Graham Norton Show with Waitrose. It’s the first time Tom, who has regularly stood in for Chris Evans and Graham Norton, has been given a permanent radio show.

Tom Allen, a versatile entertainer known for his comedic prowess, acting, writing, and presenting, has previously been featured on popular TV shows such as Live at the Apollo, Celebrity Catchphrase, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. His vibrant personality and unique talent make him a valuable addition to the Virgin Radio UK family, where he joins a stellar lineup featuring the likes of Chris Evans at breakfast, Graham Norton on the weekends, Jayne Middlemiss every weekday, and Kaiser Chiefs’ Frontman Ricky Wilson.

Leigh Francis, also known as Keith Lemon, another recent addition to the Virgin Radio team, will continue to bring his infectious personality and fun to the airwaves every Saturday from 12:30 pm to 4 pm, ensuring a dynamic weekend listening experience.

In a further exciting development, distinguished Irish broadcaster Ryan Tubridy today joined the Virgin Radio weekday lineup. Known for his recent hosting roles on the immensely popular Late Late Show on RTÉ 1 and The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio One in Ireland, Ryan now helms the mid-morning show on Virgin Radio UK from 10 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday. The station continues to evolve, offering an engaging mix of talent and content to its ever-growing audience.
