BBC Radio 2 in the Park 2024 is coming to Preston in Lancashire!

Following last year’s massive event in Leicester, the station is preparing to do it all over again – this time in Moor Park, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 2024.

The news was revealed on this mornings Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Gaby Roslin.

And as for who is playing, last time around Kylie Minogue, Tears for Fears, Rick Astley and The Pretenders all took to the stage, alongside Radio 2 favourites including Vernon Kay and Jo Whiley who entertained fans in the DJ stage. Fans, will need to keep listening for the lineup news.

Helen Thomas, Head of Radio 2 says: “I’m delighted that this year’s Radio 2 in the Park will take place in Preston. Following last year’s epic extravaganza in Leicester, we can’t wait to head north with our fantastic family of Radio 2 presenters, as well as some of the most loved music artists on the planet, to party with the good people of Lancashire! “
