Peacock launches first Thruple dating series, Couple To Thruple

Peacock is delving into the realm of polyamory with its upcoming dating series.

Hosted by Scott Evans, known for his role on Access Hollywood, “Couple to Throuple” is set to premiere on the NBCU streaming platform on February 8. This series was ordered by Peacock almost a year ago, with production handled by Fremantle’s UK-based production company, Naked.

The show takes an intimate look at four inquisitive couples as they navigate the intricacies of polyamory, introducing a third partner into their relationships. Against the backdrop of a secluded tropical resort, the couples will interact, socialize, and explore connections with a group of singles, many of whom are well-versed in polyamorous dynamics.

These relationships undergo a rigorous examination to determine their compatibility. As their time in paradise concludes, the couples must decide whether they are open to embracing more than just a monogamous connection, opting to commit as a throuple, maintain the status quo, or part ways individually.

Renowned sex expert Shamyra Howard is also part of the series.

The ten-part series will be released in weekly sets of three episodes, with the finale available for separate streaming. Executive producers include Matthew Cox, Katy Fox, James Lessell, and Tom O’Brien.
