Chris Hemsworth is returning with a second season of “Limitless,” available via to National Geographic which streams on Disney Plus. Tom McDonald, National Geographic’s Executive Vice President of Global Factual and Unscripted Content, highlighted the profound impact of the show’s blend of science, endeavor, and Hemsworth’s dedication on millions of viewers worldwide during the first season. McDonald teased that the upcoming season will maintain the scale, drama, and challenges characteristic of “Limitless” while also promising significant surprises in store for both the audience and Chris Hemsworth himself.

“Millions of viewers around the world were inspired and wowed by the combination of science, endeavor and the incredibly committed Chris Hemsworth in the first season,” said Tom McDonald, the executive vice president of global factual and unscripted content for National Geographic. “This new season will have the scale, the drama and the challenges you’d expect from ‘Limitless,’ but we’ve also got some big and exciting surprises in store for the audience and for Chris himself.”

Posting on social media, Hemsworth wrote: “We’re back bigger and better for a new season of Limitless! I’m teaming up with National Geographic, @DarrenAronofsky, and world-class experts for a new series of epic challenges to explore how we can all live not just longer, but better”.

The first season saw Chris undertake challenges connected to the themes of Shock, Stress, Fasting, Strength, Memory and Resistence.
