Sian Welby excels hosting ITV morning show

Fans have reacted to Sian Welby’s debut anchoring ITV’s flagship magazine show This Morning, and they were full of praise.

Sian, who has hosted segments on the show but never fronted it, today hosted the programme alongside Dermot O’Leary. Fans were quick to praise the host, who is also known for being part of the Capital Breakfast presenting team.

“Sian is the absolute best!” wrote one fan, whilst another wrote “@Sianwelby is by far the best and most professional revolving presenter to present the show since Holly left. Excellent communication with guests and good chemistry with her fellow colleague, Dermot O’Leary. ITV execs may have just found a permanent replacement host?”

Another fan echoed the same sentiment, adding “’Can’t believe @Sianwelby is hosting @thismorning! After listening to her for years on Capital, always knew she was going to smash it.”

Today’s programme featured guests including Bill Bailey and film stars Kevin Hart and Gugu Mbatha-Raw who were on the show to promote their new Netflix movie, Lift. Plus, Hollywood royalty was in the studio with Austin Butler and Callum Turner promoting new Apple TV+ series Masters of the Skies (pictured, Copyright itv). There was also cooking in the kitchen from Phil Vickery and tips from the Coupon Kid.
