BBC One to air two Eurovision specials to air this March

Two Eurovision specials will air on BBC One on Friday 1 March.

At 10.40pm, Graham Norton interviews Olly Alexander in a special 15 minute programme. Olly will be talking about representing the UK in the 2024 song contest with this track, “Dizzy”.

Speaking about Eurovision previously, Olly said: “I really can’t believe I’m going to be a part of such a special legacy and fly the flag for the UK in the gayest way possible.

“I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got and put on an excellent and unforgettable performance for you all!”

At 10.55pm, get ready for a spectacular show filled with some of the biggest names from the history of the Eurovision Song Contest in The Big Eurovision Party.

Straight from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Eurovision legends come together to celebrate the rich musical legacy of the iconic event.

The Big Eurovision Party is a celebration of music, energy and excitement as the artists take the stage to perform some of the most memorable songs from the past while Rylan catches up with some of them backstage.

With performances by Conchita Wurst, Johnny Logan, Käärijä, Måns Zelmerlöw, Cornelia Jakobs, Gjon’s Tears, Alessandra, Rosa Linn and many more. You do not want to miss this party!

Sweden is hosting Eurovision 2024 after Swedish icon Loreen won this year’s trophy with the jackhammer pop anthem Tattoo. The semi-finals and grand finals will air on BBC One this May.
