Rylan’s campaign sends Girls Aloud’s ‘Untouchable’ to No.1

Girls Aloud are at No.1 on the UK iTunes charts with ‘Untouchable’, following a campaign launched by super-fan Rylan.

The track has been streamed thousands of times since Rylan encouraged listener of The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show to get it back in the charts, yesterday. It’s now beating tracks by The Beatles, Dua Lipa and Jack Harlow.

The track was released as a single on April 27, 2009, and it’s part of their fifth studio album, “Out of Control,” which was released in 2008.

“Untouchable” is known for its unique sound, featuring a trance-influenced electronic production. It received positive reviews from music critics, praising its experimental and ambitious nature.

The single entered the UK Singles Chart at number eleven, making it the first Girls Aloud single to miss the top ten since “Wake Me Up” in 2005. Despite its chart position, “Untouchable” is often regarded as one of Girls Aloud’s standout tracks and a fan favourite.

It could well be this week’s No.1 on the Official Big Top 40 chart show, which airs on Capital and Heart and next Friday, it could top the Official Singles Chart announced on BBC Radio 1. For Girls Aloud news straight to your Whatsapp, follow our Channel.
