TV Tonight: England V Belgium – Live Football

Tonight at 7pm on Channel 4, Live International Football as England take on Belgium.

Jules Breach is joined at Wembley by Joe Cole, Jill Scott and Marouane Fellaini for live coverage of the international friendly between England and Belgium. The Three Lions and the Red Devils have not met since the crowd-free Nations League of 2020. England came from behind to win at Wembley in October of that year. But Belgium ended the group stage with a 2-0 win in November. Whoever comes out on top, this is sure to be a gripping glimpse of the teams ahead of Euro 2024.

At least three key players will be missing from England’s squad, with Gareth Southgate saying: “It is an incredible number who are unavailable to us”.

“I haven’t experienced that before, but it means there are opportunities for other people.

“You can’t worry about what we haven’t got. You’ve got to move forward. There’s a lot of different reasons for those injuries.”

“Ivan will be involved in the game for sure,” Southgate added. “I have to say, with everything that’s happened, the original idea or plan for the week is a little bit different.

“We’re probably finding out about more players but that’s really helpful. To see all those players against high-level opposition will help us make better decisions moving forward.”
