Leicester lands another huge concert with Ronan, Blue and Moyles on the lineup

Leicester is getting another huge Summer concert, following the success of last year’s BBC Radio 2 in the Park – and tickets go on sale this Wednesday, 3rd January!

Leicester’s Race Course is hosting its annual Ladies Day on June 15th, 2024 and the lineup is huge!

Magic FM host and music icon Ronan Keating is the headline act. Bursting onto the international music scene as the lead vocalist of the chart-topping boy band Boyzone in the early 1990s, Keating quickly became a household name with his distinctive voice and charismatic presence. Beyond his accomplishments with Boyzone, Ronan’s solo career has been equally illustrious, marked by a string of hit albums and singles. His solo debut, “Ronan,” featured the iconic track “When You Say Nothing at All,” which catapulted him to global stardom. Keating’s ability to seamlessly transition between pop, balladry, and contemporary sounds has sustained his popularity over the years. Not only has he continued to produce chart-topping music, but Ronan Keating has also showcased his talents as a television presenter, actor, and philanthropist, leaving an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. His enduring success is a testament to both his musical prowess and his ability to connect with audiences across generations.

He’ll be supported by Radio X Breakfast presenter Chris Moyles, who brings his massive 90’s DJ set to the event. Moyles’s DJ nights have become a firm favourite with fans, attracting thousands of attendees to his massive live dates every year.

That’s not all though, because fans will also be treated to a live set by Blue.
Blue, the British pop group formed in the early 2000s, has left an indelible mark on the music industry with their infectious melodies and charismatic performances. Comprising members Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, Duncan James, and Antony Costa, Blue quickly rose to fame with their debut album “All Rise,” featuring hit singles like “If You Come Back” and the title track. Known for their harmonious vocals and sleek R&B-infused pop sound, Blue achieved widespread success and garnered a dedicated fan base. Their subsequent albums, including “One Love” and “Guilty,” further solidified their status as pop sensations. Over the years, Blue has maintained a strong presence in the music scene, evolving their sound and engaging in various projects. With a career marked by chart-topping hits and memorable performances, Blue continues to be celebrated for their contribution to the vibrant landscape of British pop music.

Completing the line-up are X Factor winners Rak-Su.

On the day, gates open 12 noon. There’s live music from 12.30 until 5pm with RAK-SU followed by BLUE then CHRIS MOYLES then
