When will Barbie be on Sky Cinema?

Barbie is coming to Sky Cinema Premieres this March, Sky TV has confirmed.

Living in Barbie Land means being a flawless being in an ideal setting, unless an existential crisis strikes, or you happen to be a Ken.

Oscar-nominated writer/director Greta Gerwig, known for “Little Women” and “Lady Bird,” presents Barbie, featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken. The cast includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell. Other stars in the film are Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Dua Lipa, and Oscar-winner Helen Mirren from “The Queen.”

Gerwig directed “Barbie” based on a screenplay by Gerwig and Oscar nominee Noah Baumbach, inspired by the Barbie concept from Mattel. The film’s producers include Oscar nominee David Heyman, Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Robbie Brenner, with Michael Sharp, Josey McNamara, Ynon Kreiz, Courtenay Valenti, Toby Emmerich, and Cate Adams as executive producers.

Gerwig’s creative team on the project features Oscar-nominated director of photography Rodrigo Prieto, six-time Oscar-nominated production designer Sarah Greenwood, editor Nick Houy, Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran, visual effects supervisor Glen Pratt, music supervisor George Drakoulias, and Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat.
