Sky News viewers praise new look Breakfast with Kay Burley

Sky News viewers have praised the network’s new look breakfast show which launched this morning at 6am.

Live from 6am every weekday, the Breakfast coverage began with presenter Gareth Barlow accompanied by Political Correspondent Mhari Aurora with news from around the world—and around Westminster.

Then, in a revised format, Barlow and Aurora stayed on in studio for Breakfast with Kay Burley which airs 7am – 10am.

Also joining Sky News Breakfast was Wilfred Frost with previews of the day’s news agenda live from the main newsroom.

The Breakfast team will join Anna Jones for Breakfast every Friday-Sunday, along with Jacquie Beltrao who will deliver the sports headlines every weekend.

Taking to X, one viewer wrote “Finally, factual no nonsense conversations about what’s really happening, well done to all , great future ahead!”

Another wrote: “Like the new set and new team alongside you Kay, congrats to all”

And acknowledging the new set, now based in Westminster, one viewer wrote: “Love the new set, with the newsroom around you, much more alive and dynamic, unlike the previous screens studio. Great new team as well and you’re fab as always”.
