Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott confirmed for Tuesday’s Capital Breakfast

All Of us Strangers stars to guest on Capital

Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott will guest on Capital Breakfast this Tuesday 23 January, to promote their new film All Of Us Strangers.

They’ll be talking to host Will Manning, who is filling in for Roman, Chris and Sian this week. Listeners will be able to hear them on the show, from 8am.

The actors have a busy week of promo for the thriller, which lands in cinemas on Friday. Last week, they enjoyed a spot on the famous red sofa on The Graham Norton Show and this week, they’ll be cropping up on various other radio and TV Shows.

In the film, one night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

Speaking about the film previously to the LA Times, Andrew Scott said “Lots of the improvisation was physical. The sex in the film was very important. The idea that sometimes one person is nervous at some point or just the way you express yourself physically. Mercifully, we were very comfortable with each other from the beginning. We knew the camera was roaming, so it wasn’t as technical. We [had an] intimacy coordinator and [stayed] within the bounds of what we’d agreed to. But within that we were very free”.

Listen to Andrew and Paul on Capital Breakfast live or on demand via the free Global Player app.
